If you want to work with noble silk fabric, you have the right sewing thread at hand with Amanda from Amann Mettler. It consists of pure schappe silk, has a regular structure and a brilliant sheen. It also has particularly tear-resistant properties and is OEKO-TEX® certified. You can work it both by machine and by hand and use it for numerous sewing, embroidery and quilting projects.
It is advisable to equip your sewing machine with a slim topstitch needle of 90-100 gauge. It has a particularly long needle eye and is ideal for decorative threads and the like.
