With the machine embroidery thread Poly Glow from Amann Mettler your embroidery and sewing work gets an extraordinary touch: The thread stores both UV and artificial light. In the dark, the originally champagne-colored seams glow green. The intensity of the glow depends on the length of time the thread has been exposed to light.

You can use the embroidery thread with standard embroidery and sewing machines. It is advisable to reduce both the speed and the thread tension. The recommended needle size is 70-80.

The thread is machine washable at up to 60 °C. So you can decorate not only decorative objects and bags, but also clothes with cool glow-in-the-dark details.
