"Zentangling" or "Tangling" is an easily learned, meditative artform that is based on a method developed by Rick Roberts und Maria Thomas. It involves applying repetitive abstract patterns on square cards - which on the one hand should bring about a relaxed and meditive state while on the other should help increase one´s concentration.
Tangle tiles (made of high quality artist board) are an economical alternative for creating the small artworks in the Mandala or, alternatively, Zentangle style and make it even possible for beginners to test out their own creativity. Gel or fibre pens - especially, however, fineliners like SAKURA PIGMA MICRON FINELINER - are the best choice for doing the actual drawings.
