The Design Journey pencil set from Staedtler contains 12 or 24 water-soluble colored pencils, packed in a sturdy metal case. The lead has a thickness of around 2.9 mm and is designed so that you can use it both as a classic colored pencil when dry and as a watercolor pencil with a brush.
The hexagonally shaped pencil sits comfortably in the hand; the pencil color painted on the outside corresponds to the inner lead color. The wood used comes from sustainably managed forests (PEFC certification). The set is suitable for beginners in the watercolor technique as well as for creative hobbyists.
