The pencil set from Staedtler contains six Mars Lumograph black drawing pencils in a metal case. Each pencil has a different degree of hardness so that you can achieve different tonal values, line qualities and hatching techniques.
The Mars Lumograph black from Staedtler is a drawing pencil that has been specially developed for drawing, hatching and sketching with matt, deep black results. The lead has a high carbon content, resulting in a matt, rich black - ideal if you want to create strong contrasts or dense black areas with lines.
The special formula of the lead and the hard bonding of the lead to the wood result in high break resistance - in practice, this means that the lead breaks less easily when sharpened or used intensively. The wooden pencil body has a classic hexagonal cross-section and the wood comes from sustainably managed forests (PEFC-certified). The Mars Lumograph black is available in several soft degrees of hardness so that you can vary the blackness and line quality. It is particularly suitable for portrait and nude drawings as well as illustrations.
