The Stabilo Easybuddy is an educational fountain pen for primary school children that is specifically designed to meet the demands of everyday school life. It is designed as a "first fountain pen" for both right-handed and left-handed writers with initial writing experience who now want to write with a fountain pen on a permanent basis. At the heart of the design is the ergonomic soft grip zone made of non-slip material. It is shaped in such a way that both right- and left-handers can hold the fountain pen securely. The hand is relaxed, the fingers are guided into a stable position and the muscles of the hand become tired less quickly. This supports a clean, legible typeface - an aspect that plays a major role when learning to write.
The nib has an iridium grain and is designed as a medium nib (M). It delivers an even flow of ink without excessive scratching or dropouts. The Easybuddy can be used with two small standard cartridges or one large capacity cartridge. The extra-large viewing window shows the fill level of both cartridges so that you can refill in good time before the fountain pen runs dry. The writing color is blue and erasable; a matching cartridge is included in the scope of delivery.
A specially developed cap reduces the risk of leakage and helps to prevent the ink from drying out. This means that the fountain pen remains ready for use even if it is transported in a pencil case or not used for a few days. The casing is made of robust plastic and is designed for daily use at school.
