- Description
CupCycling? Yes, that's right: Seawhite's all-media paper is made from 80% recycled paper cups. So far, these were rarely recycled because the cardboard is firmly connected to a plastic layer. The British paper manufacturer James Cropper has succeeded in developing a sensible process for separating plastic coating and paper with CupCycling. Thanks, James!
The recycled paper fibers are processed by Seawhite of Brighton with 20% virgin fibers into a high-quality drawing and drawing paper with extremely high tear and tensile strength and erasure-resistant surface. With its thickness of 140 g/m², it not only tolerates dry drawing media but also painting with wet techniques.
