The Schmincke soft pastel chalks in a set with three neon colors offer you the finest artist quality to create lively, high-contrast accents in drawings and pastel paintings. The pastel chalks are extra soft and highly pigmented, allowing them to be used on rough paper with a strong color transfer while also being easy to smudge and layer. The chalks are traditionally produced in the Schmincke manufactory. High-quality artist pigments with minimal binder content are used so that the color is particularly pure and intense - without chalk additives.
The neon shades offer a particularly strong luminosity compared to standard colors, are suitable for mixing with other pastel colors and can be used both individually and in combination. To fix the pastel work, we recommend using a suitable fixative sparingly to secure the sensitive pigment layers on the surface.
