Satogami is a paper that is manufactured in Japan that, as a result of its bamboo fibre content, has a matte, velvety surface and a fine cloudy texture. Because of its suppleness and simultaneous sturdiness, it can be well used as a covering paper for boxes or as a cover or an end paper in the field of bookbinding.
Satogami paper can be written on, printed (laser printer/photocopier) and takes well to being folded – the last feature making it also a great gift-wrap or origami paper.
