Sakura Pigma Micron meets the highest demands for drawing and writing by hand. The pigment ink is document-proof (archive quality), lightfast, chemical-resistant and does not bleed. It does not smear even after drying and is not removable (waterproof). So it will not run even if you accidentally pour water on the finished drawing or writing. Pigma ink does not bleed through on most papers.
Use the fineliners for your notes, illustrations, caricatures, mangas and freehand drawings or zentangle. Due to their described properties, they are also suitable for legal documents, logbooks and checks. Therefore, it is not surprising that fineliners are often used in professional contexts. For architects, archivists, anthropologists, entomologists and laboratories, the pens are an everyday tool. However, the pens are also popular with manga artists, illustrators and watercolorists. It is not recommended to use the pens on textiles that are to be washed. Fineliners should also not be used on skin, even though they meet ACMI non-toxicity standards.
