The Sakura Pigma Micron set of 6 consists of six high-quality fineliners with tips of varying fineness (0.20 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.30 mm, 0.35 mm, 0.45 mm, 0.50 mm) and is particularly suitable for detail-oriented drawings, illustrations, sketches or technical sketches.
The patented Pigma ink is used in the pens, a pigment-based archival ink that dries quickly, is waterproof, smudge-proof, document-proof and lightfast. The ink does not bleed through on most common types of paper. Once the ink has dried, it can be safely painted over with watercolors or other wet techniques without running. The fine tips with metal holders guarantee stability and extremely even lines, even with fine details.
Application tips & notes
- Note the drying time: Although the ink dries quickly, you should wait a short time before wiping or painting over it, especially on smooth surfaces.
- Storage: Store with the cap on, ideally lying down or with the tip pointing downwards to prevent drying out.
- Choose suitable paper: Very thin paper or paper with a strong texture may show bleed-through in exceptional cases - it is best to test this in advance.
