Jaxon crayons are used in kindergartens and schools by hobby artists and by real artistic painters as well. Architects use them for adding colour to plans on normal and transparent paper, cardboards, plywoods and even matte plastic films. This type of application is done by applying the chalk to an area and wiping over it with a PAPER BLENDING STICK (ESTOMPES). A more even tone of colour can be achieved by further rubbing the area with a piece of cloth soaked in ACETONE, CELLULOSE THINNER, TURPENTINE SUBSTITUTE or LINSEED OIL VARNISH. Interesting effects can be achieved on (transparent) paper by employing a hot flat iron: you simply apply many colours to the paper and fold it together or lay a sheet of BLOTTING PAPER on top of it and then iron it until the colours begin to run. ^
