The Nielsen Alu Alpha removable frame is a sturdy aluminum frame with a narrow visible edge that allows pictures to be framed discreetly. With a profile width of 7.8 mm, it reduces the visual presence of the frame to a minimum. This keeps your picture motif clearly in the foreground, while the frame merely forms a precise border. At the same time, the frame profile is quite deep at 25.9 mm. This greater depth has a direct effect on the insertion height, which at 6.2 mm is significantly higher than that of classic aluminum frames. This allows you to use thicker materials or combinations of picture and passe-partout in addition to individual papers. This expands the range of applications, especially for more elaborate presentations or multi-layer framing.
The dimensionally stable frame supports the regular exchange of content: The back panel is held in place by solid torsion springs that can be opened without tools. This allows you to change motifs quickly - again and again over many years. The float glass pane inserted into the frame protects the motif from dust and external influences. The structure is complemented by an MDF back panel and an acid-free insert that separates the image material from the back panel and thus protects the motif from ageing too quickly. Suspensions allow the frame to be used in portrait and landscape format so that you can position it flexibly.
