replaceable compact refill with indelible ink and metal tip, painted or chromed brass barrel with push-button mechanism for retraction, ink colour: black; compatible refill: Lamy M 22, Design: Franco Clivio
In 2001 Lamy, in collaboration with Franco Clivio, introduced a pocket pen with the name ‘’pico’’ on the market. It is only about 80 mm long and is designed to fit nicely in a handbag or pants pocket. After pushing the activating button, the pen rather surprisingly expands in length – at the bottom end the point extends by means of an ingenious mechanism while at the top end the barrel extends about 15 millimetres and achieves a length that is even comfortable for someone with large hands, sitting nicely in the crook between the thumb and the index finger. When not activated, the pico, with its beautiful rounded shape, really flatters the hand and fits in every pocket; when activated, it becomes a complete writing utensil that is really fun to write with.
