The Hahnemühle watercolor block genuine laid paper in mini format 80 × 105 mm is a compact painting surface for watercolour works and quick colour sketches. The paper is manufactured using the traditional cylinder mould technique, giving it a characteristic, slightly irregular texture with four genuine deckle edges. With a basis weight of 200 g/m², it provides a stable foundation for wet-on-wet techniques, glazes or detailed work in several layers of paint.
On the rough surface, color pigments can be easily deposited in the paper structure. This creates lively textures and differentiated color gradients, which are particularly visible in landscape motifs, urban sketches or atmospheric studies. At the same time, the paper allows for controlled brushstrokes and absorbs water evenly without immediately rippling.
The small format makes the pad suitable for on the go, for color studies or for testing new motifs and techniques. You can capture spontaneous impressions directly without having to carry large-format material with you. The 20 sheets offer enough space for series or variations of a motif. The natural white paper is acid-free and resistant to ageing, so your work can be archived for the long term.
