The Golden Acrylic Paints & Media Test Set is designed as a compact introduction to the professional acrylic paint and media system from GOLDEN. It enables you to practically understand the key differences between various acrylic paint types and common acrylic media.
The focus is on four different acrylic paint systems: Heavy Body, Fluid, OPEN and High Flow. These differ significantly in terms of viscosity, drying behavior and application options. You can try out how highly viscous, pasty paints behave in comparison to flowing or very low-viscosity acrylic paints and what effects this has on paint application, texture and detail work. The selection of colors is supplemented by several acrylic media and pastes that can be used to change the consistency, transparency, surface effect and layer structure.
The enclosed instructions guide you through simple exercises and explain how colors and media can be combined with each other. All products included are available in sample or trial sizes. The set provides a clear basis for deciding on materials if you want to get to grips with acrylic painting or expand your existing knowledge of acrylic paints.
