The Faber-Castell Watercolour Marker Albrecht Dürer is an artist's watercolour marker for drawings and colour applications that can then be dissolved and painted with water. Its highly pigmented, water-based ink is particularly suitable for applications where you want to alternate between precise line work and full-surface application. Thanks to the dual features of a soft brush tip and a sturdy fiber tip, you can create contours, details, sketches, color areas and dynamic lines with the same pen. Depending on the angle, the fiber tip creates lines of around 1-2 mm. The ink is water-soluble, highly lightfast, odorless and formulated so that it does not bleed through the paper. It can be used to create gradients, glazes, brightening and transitions on watercolor paper in a very controlled manner.
The different sets vary greatly in composition and size. You can choose very small, handy and portable sets for a specific artistic purpose (e.g. urban sketching or portrait painting) or, with a focus on the variety of colors, you can purchase medium-sized or large sets up to a complete range.
