The Pitt Graphite Matt pencil from Faber-Castell scores with a particularly matte stroke. Unlike classic graphite pencils, it does not produce any shimmering highlights. This prevents light reflections on the paper and all details of the drawing are easily recognizable, regardless of the lighting conditions of the surroundings and the viewing angle of the observer. The matte properties of the drawing also prove to be a great advantage when photographing and scanning.
For strong contrasts and maximum depth effect, the pen relies on a high tonal density. The lead is extra break-resistant. The barrel is made of sustainably grown wood and is lacquered with environmentally friendly water-based varnish. The production of the graphite pencil is climate-neutral.
