The Polychromos colored pencil set from Faber-Castell contains the complete color variety of the well-known artists' colored pencils, all 120 colors can be found here in a metal box. The large selection allows you to create fine transitions, shading and precise color blends. The pencils are based on an oil-based paint lead, which is characterized by an even, smudge-proof application. You can build up layers without the underlying color areas dissolving too much. At the same time, the stable lead enables precise lines to be drawn and the risk of breakage when sharpening is significantly reduced thanks to the patented secondary bonding - even with heavy pressure.
Another relevant aspect is the high light resistance of the pigments. This means that your work retains its color effect even after prolonged exposure to light, which supports its use for illustrations, designs or artistic works with archiving requirements. The pens are also suitable for various surfaces such as paper, cardboard or wood and can be combined with other media.
