The sepia pencil: Sepia was originally a liquid drawing ink which was made from the dark liquid produced for defensive purposes by many types of cuttlefish. Today this dark brown and somewhat dusky coloured lead is made using synthetic materials. The sepia lead is oil-free and produces a smudge-proof, water soluble line.

Ruddle pastel pencil: The basis of the sanguine colour is clay which contains iron oxide that is added to the lead in pulverized form. The ruddle pastel lead is oil-free and produces a line that is waterproof and pretty much smudge-proof as well.

White pastel pencil: White pastel pencils are irreplaceable when it comes to working on coloured or black paper as well as for use in lightening sanguine motifs or charcoal drawings The white pastel lead is oil-free and produces a smudge-proof, water soluble line.

Black drawing charcoal: The drawing crayons in black feel and act like rough charcoal when using them. They can be blended well using water and lightened through the use of an art eraser.

Charcoal pencil: In comparison to the black drawing crayons, the charcoal pencil’s action is considerably softer and more luscious. The lead of the charcoal pencil produces a wonderful smudge-proof and water soluble line.
