F-Color book cover paper with its fine linen texture is the classic book cover material in new and modern colours. The recycled paper (formerly known under the brand name “Efalin”), is made from high quality, FCS certified virgin fibre paper and conforms to the toy safety norm EN 71/3. Its surface is extremely long lasting, aging resistant and gladly serves as a permanent covering material for selected books, folders and boxes. For writing, only suitable pens like, for example, pens for film or Edding paint marker should be used.
It can be worked on with all conventional printing processes and embossing machines but only pure, oxidative drying inks should be used, while care should be taken that the drying process is allowed to finish. However, the quality of the printing should be checked out in advance because the manufacturer does not give any guarantees in this regard. This material also takes well to being stamped and embossed. The direction of the grain should be taken into account when gluing this material to book spines and covers.
