The Da Vinci watercolor/gouache brush set Colineo, Series 4202, comprises three synthetic brushes that have been specially developed for use with gouache and watercolor paints. The brushes are made from a carefully balanced blend of straight and wavy synthetic fibers that mimic the characteristics of Kolinsky red sable hair. This construction gives the brushes high elasticity, dimensional stability and paint absorption capacity.
The water-repellent laminated wooden handles are ergonomically designed and prevent the brushes from rolling away while painting. The set contains two round brushes from the 5522 series in sizes 2 and 6 as well as a flat brush from the 5822 series in size 8. This selection enables precise detail work as well as the application of surfaces and glazes. All brushes in this set are vegan and are manufactured in Germany under environmentally friendly conditions.
