In addition, it can simply be used to make straight parallel lines (my gosh, you can make your own music staff paper if only one there was indeed a five-prong version!). Natural textures like foliage can be quickly represented by using the three-prong brush. The synthetic bristles are suitable for use with watercolours as well as with pastose (pasty) paints like, for example, thick acrylic paints.
