The da Vinci Forte striper, which has especially long tuft hairs and a sharp point, is great for sign painting and drawing fine lines, details, and decors. Its strong synthetic fibres allow it to do that kind of work even with pasty paints like acrylics and oils and on rough substrates like textiles. The long fibres are able to take up a lot of paint so that even long line and lettering work can be completed without having to go back for more paint.
All the brushes in the da Vinci Forte series are made with very durable synthetic fibres that combine the attributes of hair and bristles. The brushes produce a clean line edge and have a reliable brush tip. They are particularly good for painting with pasty paints and on rough surfaces like, for example, wood, cardboard, rough porcelain and ceramics.
The hexagonal handle, which was developed by da Vinci, has from three to six flattened areas at its thickest point that will prevent the brush from rolling away. These flattened areas are so subtle that when the brush is being used not only will your hand not tire but they will also not hinder the turning motion necessary when shaping the brush tip.
