The Copic Multiliner Set of 5 Black contains five fineliners with different line widths for precise line drawings and detail-oriented illustrations. The pigment-based ink is specially designed to be combined with Copic markers. If you first outline a drawing and then color it with alcohol-based markers, the lines remain stable. The ink does not run and does not dissolve even if you color over it several times. Multiliners are often used for sketches, final artwork and contours.
The pigment-based ink is waterproof, smudge-proof, lightfast and acid-free. Lines remain stable after drying and do not smudge, even if you continue to work with water-based paints or markers containing alcohol. At the same time, the acid-free composition helps drawings retain their line quality for a long time and fade less quickly. Thanks to the even ink flow, you can draw lines at your own pace in a very controlled manner and without interruptions. This is particularly relevant for longer contours or even hatching.
