Wherever you travel, you can always take the water tank brush from Caran D'Ache with you. With it, you have your painting tool for wet techniques (watercolor, gouache, water-soluble colored pencils and pastels). The Caran D'Ache Waterbrush has three different tips to choose from: Large brush tip for flat work and backgrounds, medium brush tip for details, calligraphy and fine blending or felt tip for lines, hatching and contours.
Application: First, you fill the tank. To do this, unscrew the tip and immerse the opening in water. Now pull out the plunger so that the water is drawn through the opening into the tank. Then screw the tank and tip together again. Now the water tank brush is ready for use. By repeatedly pressing the elastic areas in the tank that say "PUSH", the tip fills with water from the tank. Now you can watercolor with the tip.
Note: After use, stroke the Caran d'Ache Waterbrush extensively and let water flow through the tip until there is no more ink on the paper, so that no ink pigments remain in the tip and cause it to stick. You can also get the three water tank brushes in a set.
