The Arches watercolor board convinces with a quality comparable to handmade papers. It is made from pure cotton on a cylinder mold machine. This makes the fiber distribution very uniform, which gives the paper strong and dimensionally stable properties.
The watercolor board is sized in mass with natural gelatin. This allows you to remove, scratch or erase the pigments both when wet and dry. The paper can absorb a lot of water without deforming or becoming too absorbent. Because the pigments are fixed to the satin surface of the paper, the colors retain their transparency and luminosity.
The watercolor board is natural white, acid-free and resistant to aging. It is provided with four beautifully shaped deckle edges and a watermark. You can use it not only for the implementation of your watercolor projects, but also for work with ink, gouache and acrylic.
