The Arches oil painting board convinces with a high quality that resembles handmade papers. The production takes place in a traditional process on a cylinder mould machine. The fibers of pure cotton are evenly distributed, so that the paper has a high stability and scores with a good flatness. If necessary, you can use it for marouflage.
The finely grained surface offers you a canvas-like texture. It is ideal for the use of oil paints and oil pastels. Thanks to a special sizing and breakdown barrier, it is semi-absorbent. You can safely do without a primer, the color reproduction is very good. The pigments fixed on the surface dry quickly.
You can cut the 300 g/m², acid-free and aging-resistant paper to size as needed. Rolled up, it can be easily transported, for example, to paint outdoors.
