The Cotton watercolor drawing pad in a very handy 90 × 90 mm format is specially designed for working with watercolors and other water-based media. The paper is made of 100% cotton and, at 300 g/m², has the necessary strength to retain its shape even with intensive wet-on-wet techniques. The surface is cold-pressed and slightly rough, which means that brushstrokes can be precisely controlled, while colors can still run well.
The small, square shape makes the drawing pad particularly portable: it fits in almost any bag and is suitable for on the go - for urban sketching or spontaneous color sketches, for example. The 20 sheets (40 pages) are firmly bound using single-sided adhesive binding, which makes it easier to work without a base. The finished works can be easily removed individually.
The acid-free, age-resistant paper guarantees long-lasting color brilliance and is suitable for watercolor, gouache and mixed media techniques with ink or fineliner, for example. Thanks to the cotton base, the paper absorbs water very well and enables even color gradients without unwanted ripples or bleed-through.
