Glassine is a strong transparent paper that is made out of pure cellulose. Its shininess and high degree of surface smoothness is the result of a supercalendering process, not chemical additives. The sleeve´s outer dimensions are about 218 x 306 mm, which means that an inserted A4 sheet of paper will have a small amount of play (a couple of millimetres in both directions). The capacity of these view folders is about 25 sheets of 90g/m² paper; at that amount, none of the paper will be exposed, even at the rounded corners. Because the folders are glued by means of a flap around the outside, there is no glue flap on the inside to hinder the insertion process.
