Savion organic soaps are made 100% with vegetable oils from controlled organic cultivation and moisturizing with high-quality oils.
Hair soaps or shampoo soaps are just as handcrafted as body soaps. The difference to other soaps are the special oils used in the saponification, which are good for the hair and scalp and produce a fine foam. When it comes to lathering, hair soaps differ little from conventional shampoos. In the hair soaps you will find wheat germ oil, which is good for the skin and can counteract itchy scalp. A big ingredient in hair soaps is olive oil, which promotes healthy hair structure and shine. Castor oil creates a fine foam.
Hair soap for colored, lightened, or treated hair.
As a rule, you can also use all hair soaps for colored hair. If you are unsure about treated hair (e.g., with color), find out from the manufacturer or your hairdresser about the compatibility (e.g., of the dye product) with an alkaline care product such as hair soap, or carry out a test on a non-conspicuous area of your hair.
Problems washing your hair with hair soap.
Initially, depending on the shampoo or conditioner used, less foam may form. In rare cases, the hair feels strange or even greasy or squeaky. This is usually over after 3-4 washes of the hair, as the sheaths of the hair have been washed out by the previous shampoo.
If you have used conventional shampoos or conditioners that coat your hair, you may also experience a dull feeling after using the hair soaps. Give your hair time! The (artificial) coating meant that the strands had no way of repairing themselves. Should the first hair washes lead to an unexpected result, we have an excellent tip from a customer: Wash your hair once or twice with baking soda. Depending on the volume of the hair, put one to two teaspoons in a bowl with water, dissolve, and then use it to make washing movements in the hair. The hair is then clean and the hair soap can be used again.
How to use the hair soaps:
Wet your hair and lather directly with the hair soap until you feel sufficient foam on the hair. This means you always have a sufficient, environmentally friendly, and economical dosage. Put the soap away and wash your hair as you normally would. Rinse the freshly washed hair well with clear water.
Care after washing your hair
As a rule, no special hair care is required after using the hair soap, but you are welcome to continue your usual routine. Since washing hair with hair soap is a natural care process, we recommend avoiding care products with synthetic additives (e.g., silicones). For normal or dry hair, you can use shea butter or coconut oil for care. Rub very little of it into your hands and massage it into the ends of your hair. It gives the hair extra shine. Test this carefully, e.g., using a pea-sized amount of the care oil.
Hair soap EM-A (hair soap with effective microorganisms activated)
This unscented hair soap is suitable for all hair types and recommended for the relief of irritated or itchy scalps. The hair soap contains 2% arnica oil for moisturizing.
Effective microorganisms were developed in Japan around 30 years ago. They naturally create a healthy skin environment and thus ensure that our most important organ, the skin, is well protected against negative influences. EM-A consist of a mixture of beneficial and naturally occurring microorganisms and contain in particular lactic acid bacteria, yeast, and photosynthetic bacteria, water, unhopped organic wort (malt extract) and sea minerals.
The world's leading organic brewery, Neumarkter Lammsbräu from Upper Palatinate, uses the wort from the brew kettle to grow effective microorganisms in-house. These are used in the Savion EM-A hair soap. They act as a natural enhancer of the healing and caring abilities of the raw materials used in the soaps, such as medicinal and wild herbs and natural oils.
Free radicals are bound by the high proportion of antioxidants in the EMs, which are favored by UV rays, for example. Thanks to the regenerative effect, they reduce skin aging. And all of this naturally and in harmony with the body.
Aloe vera hair soap
This soap is made with the fresh gel from aloe vera leaves in organic quality. It cares for the hair and scalp with carefully processed oils and the active ingredients of the aloe vera gel. This is added to the aloe vera hair soap after the main saponification in order to gently work the important ingredients of the aloe vera plant into the soap, so that they can develop their effect on the hair and scalp while washing.
As with the nettle, the aloe vera is said to promote hair growth, strengthen the hair with its vitamins and minerals, and can even help with hair loss. The widespread problem of dandruff is also said to be reduced by using aloe vera. The fragrance composition of essential oils, with a refreshing, floral note, makes the natural soap for the hair a sensual pleasure. Aloe vera hair soap is suitable for all hair types.
