Tyvek is this thin, paper-like material made of PE fibers that has many good properties: It is waterproof, tear-resistant, printable, light, and bright white. It feels silky soft and is very smooth. Overalls for renovation or clean rooms made of Tyvek and nautical charts are also often printed on them. So here is a rather unusual bag made of Tyvek. With only fifty grams you can carry around fifteen kilograms of luggage. The light and thin material makes the folded bag fit in every handbag and in many a jacket pocket. And because the material appears as pristine as a canvas, it invites you to design it yourself. It is best to use acrylic paints or acrylic markers and paint your Tyvek bag the way you like it! A few more tips on care: If you would like to wash your Tyvek bag at some point, it is best to do so with a hand wash and a mild soap. Then simply hang up and let dry, do not wring, spin, or put in the dryer. And please do not iron - PE is a thermoplastic material.

Last but not least, Tyvek fabrics should not be used near heat, flames, sparks, or in explosive environments. The physical properties of Tyvek are not affected by water: Tyvek is wet or dry under normal conditions and ambient temperatures equally strong. Tyvek® meets all requirements of the USA Flammable Fabrics Act, CA-191-53, for clothing.
