The learning clock makes learning the time clear, tangible and pleasantly reduced. Instead of distracting with superfluous details, it concentrates on the essentials: hours, minutes and the interplay between the large and small hands. This allows children to understand step by step how 60 minutes become an hour, how analog clock times can be set and how the 12-hour and 24-hour systems are connected. The time can be set to the minute from 0 to midnight.
With a diameter of 18 cm, the learning clock is large enough to clearly see the numbers, minute markers and hands, but remains handy for the table, shelf, learning area or group work. The movable hands invite you to try things out: "Set 7:30", "What time is it in 15 minutes?" or "What time does the large hand on the 12 and the small one on the 3 show?". This makes the learning clock a useful aid for preschool, elementary school, after-school care, at home or playful learning stations.
