Please give all dimensions in millimeters. Your custom cutting work can only be carried out if you provide us with the data in written and understandable form. Custom cut goods are exempted from any right of return or from order cancellation.
In addition to the price of the material itself, there is a one-time flat rate charge for a custom cut:
For large quantities please send us your request.
In calculating the price of custom cutting there are two categories or materials:
Category 1: “Custom cutting without remainders” (article priced by square meters):
The price of your material will be determined by the square meter size of your custom cut – the remainders will not be charged and will remain with us. You can provide us with the dimensions you require for this type of article directly in the webshop whereby the actual price will be immediately displayed (if Javascript is activated).
Category 2: Purchasing “whole sheets” (articles priced by the piece):
We offer custom cutting on all of the articles in our assortment. In this instance, your cost will be the price of the material itself plus the custom cutting charge. We then deliver your order to you with any resulting remainders included.
We only cut rectangular shapes. The minimum custom cut size is
When ordering material that have structured or textured surfaces (e.g. brushed stainless steel) please inform us as to which direction the grain should be running. If no such information is supplied, the direction of the grain will not be considered when the cutting work is done. The amount of kerf loss (wastage) due to sawing is about 3.5 mm per cut (caused by the width of the saw blade).
The standard dimensional accuracy is ± 1 mm/m. In the few instances where cutting by hand is necessary, tolerances up to 2 mm can occur. Right angularity is ± 1 mm/m. Please note: Right angularity and dimensional accuracy failures can be cumulative.

We will drill such materials as Dibond, Forex and acrylic sheets as well as any other material in our assortment where drilling is possible so as to enable you to hang, attach or join them.
Screws are the most stable method for attaching displays, photographs and signs to walls as long as the use of a wall anchor is allowed (if not, you should take a close look at our mirror tapes or mounting tapes…). We are set up to drill the holes you require in Dibond, Forex and acrylic sheets as well as any other material in our assortment where drilling is possible. By the way, we also offer a range of practical wall mounts, which can be found under the name FISSO.
When intended for the above mentioned purposes it is advisable to select a hole size for your sheets that is a bit larger than the screw so as to allow some play when inserting it. Please also keep in mind that the tolerance for drilling work is ±1 mm. In the case of acrylic glass, please note that the GS grade is better suited to mechanical processing than the XT grade. Further information on this topic can be found at the product descriptions.

The following processing methods are possible, depending on the the article:
Pad Printing
Pad printing machines consist of a printing plate (mould) with an image (e.g., your logo) and a pad (stamp). The mould is filled with ink by means of a squeegee after which the soft, silicone pad is then pressed into the mould. It absorbs the ink and goes back up and prints the image on the substrate.
The advantage of this process lies in the fact that the elastic stamp is able to conform to the shape of the substrate (the piece being printed on). This makes pad printing especially good for use on textured or uneven surfaces like, for example, the barrel of writing utensils.
Screen Printing
In the case of screen printing, the squeegee is used to apply the ink onto the substrate by pressing it through a finely woven mesh that is tightly stretched across a frame. All the areas of the mesh where the ink should not be able to pass are pre-treated with a covering material so that only the intended image (e.g. a logo) will appear on the other side. Depending on the fineness of the motif to be printed and the characteristics of the surface of the substrate, fabric with either a coarse or fine mesh is chosen.
Advantage: this process allows you to achieve a high degree of density of the coats of ink and thereby a high degree of colour density. The result is a very durable printed image with brilliant colours. If you require a more intense brightness a glossy or matte lacquer can be added to your ink. Screen printing is especially suitable for use with thick materials, untreated paperboards or with cardboards whose surface is absorbent.
Embossing/ Hot Foil Stamping
Embossing is the process of imprinting an image (making an impression) in a material by pressing a mould into it that has your image (logo) on it. This process is usually done without any colour being added. Hot foil stamping makes it possible to colour the embossed area by employing a colour foil. At first the foil sticks to the mould but then permanently fuses with the substrate through pressure and heat during the embossing process.
Advantage: Embossing allows you to not only apply a colour but also to produce a raised texture (a relief). This process is especially suitable for use on strong paper and paperboard.
Our product range consists of over 38,000 total items. Making your decision will not always be easy. Therefore, we offer sample boxes.
