These prefabricated stamps made from elastic silicone rubber are made just for those people who do not want to cut their own stamps out of rubber or foam rubber. The characters have a smooth rear side to make them easy to glue to a smooth surface; usually a thick, transparent piece of acrylic is used for this purpose by scoring or drawing a guideline on its surface and placing the letters accordingly in the sequence that you want to stamp them. The transparency of acrylic blocks provides the great advantage that you can see exactly where the stamp is going to land. When with time the adherence of the letters to the acrylic block begins to diminish it means that the letters are dirty (the dirt reduces the adhesion).
