The PaintON product range from Clairefontaine is simply ideal for the mixed media sector. The 250 g heavy paper made of 100% cellulose is versatile and convinces with its good price-performance ratio. PaintON was specially developed to offer artists a paper that can be used for dry techniques, as well as for wet techniques such as gouache or acrylic.

In this block you will find four copies of each of six different types of paper. All have the same grammage and are equally well suited for wet and dry techniques. They differ from each other in color and surface. Use the different papers for different color effects and contrasts. Study how your colors behave on the different grounds and control your results already through the choice of paper.

The white grained paper has a special feature: It has two different surfaces. One side is smooth, the other rough.
