Alpa Sil Extra is good for making exact moulds from basic master patterns without undercuts. Because of its low viscosity, the stirred mixture releases any bubbles formed very easily and it also pours very nicely. It should only be used for small moulds because it is a relatively soft material. When the walls of the mould are only a few millimetres thick, the material is light blue and translucent; thicker wall thicknesses are opaque.
