Because it is made from real slate, both sides of the chalkboard can be written on equally well – but this also means that if it falls to the ground there is a certain risk that it will break. The beechwood frame is approximately 25 mm wide with the result that the usable area of the board is actually 50 mm less than both the given width and length.
