The two different sides of this squeegee-type applicator make it a very versatile tool for use in the either dry or wet mounting of a variety of materials such as polyester films, coated materials or self-adhesive films. The hard edge is good for mounting heavier materials; the flexible rubber lip – which, it should be mentioned, does not glide all that well – is good for use on thin films which can easily tear or scratch, e.g. SPY-MIRROR-FILM.
