Search tips for the Modulor online shop

The search function in the shop is easy to use. You should nonetheless take note of the following tips for searches because your choice of a search term can be used to influence the results you receive. If your search yields no result, please do not hesitate to call us directly or to send an email so that we can advise you further.

• Expand your search (more results/less results buttons): Initially the search only considers all product names and their short descriptions. After receiving the results, you can then filter or expand the scope of your search. If you have gotten too many results you can reduce the scope of the search with the “less results” button. Then, only the product names will be searched. If, on the other hand, you received too few results, you can expand your search by clicking the “more results” button. Then, the search will include all product information texts in the shop.
• Cross-references/INDEX: Cross-references to other products in the shop are designated by capital letters (e.g. “Gluing work can be done using UHU PLAST”). In order to use these cross-references, just enter the capitalized name in the search field.
• Grammar: Adjectives should avoid comparative or superlative forms.
• "AND" search: The search function of the shop is a so-called “And search”. All the search terms entered must appear in every search result. The word order of a search term does not matter.
  
• Search syntax/Meta symbols: Meta symbols like “*“ are not recognized (e.g. Gift*). Terms of exclusion cannot be used either (e.g. entering „paper –red“ in order to find all paper that is not red will not work).
• Search by article numbers: If you know the article number of your desired product, the search result will initially show the overall heading under which your product is listed. Under the picture on that page you will find another button that, when clicked, will lead you directly to the specific article.
