Shipping and Handling

We ship worldwide using either a parcel service (standard, express) or a forwarding agency. Orders that do not specify a method of delivery will be shipped per standard delivery. The method and cost of delivery will always be shown in the order confirmation that we send you.

Deliveries cannot be made to post office boxes or parcel deposit and pick-up stations.

We will always inform you if an ordered item cannot be shipped in a timely fashion. An article not available at the time your order is to be shipped will not be sent on later unless you specifically request it.

1. Courier services in Berlin and surrounding areas

We can deliver by courier in and around Berlin. The goods will then arrive within a very short time. The cost of courier delivery within Berlin is as follows:

• for deliveries per bicycle or automobile 16,00 € (13,45 € net)
• for deliveries per transporter 25,00 € (21,01 € net)

Please inquire about prices for surrounding areas.

If you require that an item be specially packed we charge an additional 5.00 € (4.20 € net). The courier will deliver your package to as far as the first lockable door. If you want your order to be delivered directly to your flat, please inquire as to the cost.

2. Deliveries within Germany

Orders will be shipped within Germany per standard or express delivery if

• the surface area < 800 mm x 1200 mm or, alternatively,
• length < 2000 mm and
• length together with the girth (= 2 x width + 2 x height) < 3000 mm and
• weight < 40 kg and
• your package does not contain transportation sensitive goodst.

If your package is oversize or contains transportation sensitive goods it will be delivered per forwarding agency. If you are not sure if your order is oversize or contains transportation sensitive goods please don’t hesitate to ask.

2.1. Standard delivery within Germany

Our goal is to process your order as quickly as possible and deliver it within one week. If you require the order withing a specific time framework please inform us of the details.

The cost of standard deliveries (including handling) is as follows:

• for order up to 50,00 € (gross) a flat rate of 9,85 € (8,28 € net)
• for orders between 50,01 € and 300,00 € (gross) a flat rate of 6,85 € (5,76 € net)
• for orders over 300,00 € (gross) shipping and handling are free with the exception of oversized or transportation sensitive goods).
• Deliveries to out of the way places are charged an extra 13,95 € (11,72 € net).

2.2. Express delivery Germany

Express deliveries will arrive on the next workday (Mon-Fri) up to 12:00 o´clock. The cost for express delivery including handling and independent of the Euro value of the order is:

• for delivery Monday to Friday up to 12:00 o´clock an express flat rate of 25.00 € (21.01 net)
• for delivery on Saturday an express flat rate of 35.00 € (29.41 € net)
  (This service must be specifically ordered!)

We ship on the same day if

• your order is received before 12:00 o´clock,
• your order consists of a maximum of 10 items,

otherwise it will usually take one day longer.

The parcel services do not guarantee on schedule deliveries and we can therefore also not guarantee that your delivery arrives on time. Our experience is that deliveries arrive punctually 98% of the time.

If it is really urgent, we can deliver much faster. Please just give us a call!

2.3. Forwarding agency shipping in Germany

The costs of delivery (including handling) per forwarding agency are:

• up to 50 kg: 54.00 € (45.38 € net)
• up to 100 kg: 76.00 € (63.38 € net)
• up to 150 kg: 91.00 € (76.47 € net)
• up to 200 kg: 102.00 € (85.71 net)

We will gladly calculate the shipping costs for heavier weights.

Please note that:

• Elaborate packaging such as the use of pallets will add an appreciable amount of weight to your delivery (a 1 x 2 m pallet weighs about 30 kg).
• The shipping costs will be based on dimensional weight if that is higher than the actual weight. In that case, 1 m³ = 150 kg.
• The prices are only good for delivery up to the property boundary; if you require unloading help please inquire about the extra costs involved.

3. Deliveries within the European Union

Packages will be shipped per standard delivery in the EU countries in the zones 1 to 4 (see the zone classifications in Table 1) if:

• surface area < 790 mm x 1100 mm or, alternatively,
• length < 2000 mm and
• length together with the girth (= 2 x width + 2 x height) < 3000 mm and
• weight < 40 kg and
• your order contains no transportation sensitive goods.

For express delivery within the EU and for standard delivery in zone 5 the same requirements apply as those for air transport, namely that the package contain no hazardous materials. Spray cans, for example, count as hazardous materials. If you are uncertain whether your order contains hazardous materials, don’t hesitate to ask us!

If your order contains oversize or transportation sensitive goods it will be sent per forwarding agency. If you are not sure if your order contains oversize or transportation sensitive goods, don’t hesitate to ask!

3.1. Standard delivery European Union

We will charge the German VAT for deliveries within the European Union unless you provide us with a valid VAT number when ordering.

You can ascertain the shipping costs per package (including handling) for standard delivery in EU countries by checking the following tables:

The shipping costs will be based on dimensional weight if that is higher than the actual weight. The following formula applies: Dm = (l x w x h) / 6000 (Dm = dimensional weight in kg; l = length, w = width, h = height of the package in cm. For example, if a box measures 30 cm x 60 cm x 20 cm (36,000 cm³) its dimensional weight is 6 kg.

3.2. Express or forwarding agency delivery European Union

Please inquire to ascertain the costs and transit time for European-wide express shipping or for delivery of oversize and transportation sensitive goods.

4. Worldwide shipping

Packages will be sent worldwide per standard delivery if:

• Surface area < 790 mm x 1100 mm or, alternatively,
• Length < 2000 mm and
• Length together with the girth (= 2 x width + 2 x height) < 3000 mm a
• Weight < 40 kg and
• Your order contains no transportation sensitive goods.

In countries where deliveries are shipped air freight  (e.g. Turkey or all non-European countries) no hazardous materials can be sent. Spray cans, for example, count as hazardous materials. If you are uncertain whether your order contains hazardous materials, don’t hesitate to ask us!

For worldwide express delivery, the same conditions as those covering air freight apply.

If your order contains oversize or transportation sensitive goods it will be sent per forwarding agency. If you are not sure if your order contains oversize or transportation sensitive goods, don’t hesitate to ask!

4.1. Standard delivery worldwide

Deliveries outside of the European Union are invoiced at net prices.

In addition to the shipping costs (including handling and the costs for customs clearance), you must also pay any applicable tariff as well as the individual countries´ import taxes and sales taxes.

Shipping costs in Euros net (including handling and custom clearance costs) for the following countries are:

The shipping costs will be based on dimensional weight if that is higher than the actual weight. The following applies: Dm = (l x w x h) / 6000 (Dm = dimensional weight in kg; l = length, w = width, h = height of the package in cm. For example, if a box measures 30 cm x 60 cm x 20 cm (36,000 cm³) its dimensional weight is 6 kg.

We will be glad, upon inquiry, to inform you of the shipping costs as well as the transit times for deliveries to all other countries.

4.2. Express or forwarding agency delivery worldwide

For the costs and transit times for worldwide express deliveries or, alternatively, for worldwide oversize and transportation sensitive goods please don’t hesitate to ask.
