O-Check Design is a South Korean company that produces calendars, notebooks, writing paper and other stationery products that have a fairly unconventional appearance. The products are very subtly designed and produced using paper and cardboard that has earthy tones with basic but attractive binding elements – in the case of this weekly scheduler, a spiral. What sets this calendar apart is: you can start a new life and/or calendar in May or November because you are the one who writes in the date you want. Each page has 14 fields in seven columns; every column is captioned with a weekday (Monday to Sunday) and over this day chart can be found the numbers 1 to 12 for the months. All 56 sheets in the calendar are designed in this way (onesided); things like vacation time, weights and measures and the distance from Cologne to Bad Homburg are nowhere to be seen. Low-key, as advertised!
