Both of the small versions of these square tin containers are only available with a roled rim lid (fillet) that has no hinge (the classic tea caddy). The larger versions do have the lid attached to the can by means of a hinge. The containers are great for holding dry food products, as gift packaging, for storage of various small bits and pieces and much more. The version with the rounded edges is especially well-appointed and therefore can make a really beautiful gift packaging for chocolates or jewellery.
