Healthy and dynamic sitting at the workplace is the foremost concern of the chair collection from the Werksitz company. The office chair WS 1020, like all the Werksitz chairs, is built with a modular construction system. All parts are screwed or pegged and, if necessary, can be interchanged individually. Either soft castors for hard floors or hard castors for soft surfaces like rugs can be ordered for this chair.

The ergonomic construction of the chairs fosters so-called “dynamic sitting”, which means that the chair, through its adjustable moveable elements, allows the sitting position and posture to be continually changed with the advantage that the strains and stress on muscles and spinal discs are not always the same, thereby reducing fatigue and discomfort. The contact seatback adjusts itself according to weight and to the various sitting positions so that it follows the movements of the upper body and thereby effectively supports the spinal column. The seatback can of course be locked in any position. Due to the variable seat angle of -4° to +10°, the optimum body opening angle of at least 90° can be maintained, regardless of the working position. Pressure loads on the thighs are thereby reduced.
