This melamine resin coated table top is extremely sturdy and will not sag when having to support heavy loads as is the case with the door leaves often found in offices being used as cheap table tops. Also, due to its weight, our table top will not upend or topple so easily even if someone accidentally sits on its overhanging edge. This table top has a thin edge band made of real beechwood which has not been mitred at the corners.

In contrast to the TABLE TOP, MELAMINE RESIN COATED, WHITE, which has a smooth semi-gloss surface, the coloured version has a slightly rough texture whereby it is less susceptible to scratching and other signs of use.
