Talcum powder increases the service life of latex moulds and latex rubber. It prevents these materials from sticking to one another because of environmental influences like heat, moisture, etc. To accomplish this, products made out of latex rubber or latex moulds should simply have talcum powder rubbed onto them and be stored in air-tight plastic bags. When being stored for longer periods this “talcuming” process should be occasionally repeated.
