Applications: Decotric assembly adhesive is fast-acting construction glue for interior and exterior use. It is used in a wet gluing process and can bridge large gaps. This assembly adhesive can glue practically all customary construction materials: wood, wooden materials, most plastics (not PE or PP) including styropor and metals with themselves or to masonry, plasterboard and cement. If the material to be glued cannot absorb water, then the substrate (the other piece) must be absorbent. Treatment: Good bonds can only be achieved between solid surfaces that are free of oils, grease and dust. Very absorbent substrates should be treated beforehand with a primer. The assembly adhesive in cartridge form is delivered with a caulking gun. Heavy pieces must be fixed in place until the assembly adhesive has fully cured.
