It is not only for patching flat tires that we have Tip Top vulcanising solution on offer; it is primarily on offer for making beautiful things out of latex. It makes elastic and fixed bonds on latex and other rubbers. Just like when fixing a bicycle flat, you apply the solution to the already roughed up rubber on one or both pieces to be glued and, after waiting for it to evaporate (5 – 10 minutes), quickly press the pieces together. The bond is then relatively firm fairly quickly but still should not be exposed to any stress right away. The bond will not reach its maximum strength until after a couple of hours. Upon inquiry, more rubber adhesives and supplemental materials from the Tip Top company are available.
