If you regularly work with dichloromethane you will know to really appreciate the pump dispenser despite its price. When you lightly tap a brush on the secondary fastener revealed by taking off the cap, it pumps a small amount of solvent into the integrated catch basin. The container stands securely on the table – if, however, it does fall over only a small amount of the liquid will be spilled. An airtight valve prevents the solvent from returning back to the container thereby ensuring that the liquid will not be despoiled – it is, however, not so tight that the dichloromethane will not evaporate out of the container after a few days. The translucent PE bottle allows you to see the fill level at all times and is not subject to being solvated by the dichloromethane. If you want to use the bottle for other solvents or chemicals be sure to check for compatibility. The bottle is not suitable for holding concentrated acids, tincture of iodine or silver nitrate.
