This flexible edge-protector is especially great for enclosing sharp edges on metal sheets in order to prevent cut wounds. Conversely, the sensitive edges of diverse sheet materials are themselves protected as during transport. In the case of custom cut perforated sheets with open edges this black edge-protector makes for a clean border. Because it is so flexible it can also be used as an edge-protector for wavy edges on sheets or tube ends (e.g. ROUND TUBE, ALUMINIUM). This soft material can be custom cut to the desired length with a scissors or a blade but when doing so it is recommended to mitre the ends in order to produce a solid and clean fit at the corners of the sheet.
